Cervantes Agritech has taken over responsibility for the development of the CLIMEX and DYMEX software packages. We use these packages in our own research and development activities, and we use our experience to guide enhancements. We are proud to partner with Hearne Scientific Software to distribute the packages.
We are also building cloud-based integrated pest forecasting systems for a range of pests, including locusts, moths and fruit flies.
CLIMEX
An ecoclimatic niche model for exploring the effects of climate on pests, disease and weeds.

CLIMEX was originally developed by CSIRO in the mid-1980's (Sutherst & Maywald 1985). It was built by ecologists for ecologists, addressing the need to understand the hazards posed by invasive organisms.
In 2022, Cervantes Agritech became the owner and developer of CLIMEX. CLIMEX can be purchased from Hearne Scientific Software.
DYMEX
DYMEX is a software system for developing population dynamic models. It has an intuitive graphical interface that allows biologists without specialist mathematical or programming skills to craft sophisticated models.
Depending on the purpose of the model and limitations on information, it can be used to create simple stage transition models, degree-day accumulation models through to full-blown models detailing a species' abundance and phenology.
In 2022, Cervantes Agritech became the owner and developer of DYMEX. DYMEX can be purchased from Hearne Scientific Software.
